I keep seeing BK20 pics and it is torture haha. I am a Howie blade fan, and that one is a beauty. But with that being said, I am glad to see so many people here that were able to get their hands on one. I would rather see them in the hands of those that appreciate them. Trust me though, next time, I am snapping one up if there is ever another run!

Ok, whining aside...any BK20 action pics anyone would share? Love ya guys!

If you keep a weather eye, someone may be willing to part with one, to a worthy home of course!:)

i'm going to have to admit that i "got one to have one". i intend to never use it. "special"...

that said, i have used several others belonging to friends, as issued, convexed, stripped, modded. good times. it's a decent chopper in that size for that thing people do with stuff.

generally though, around that size range, i do have some others i've acquired, and they are more extensions of my arm, than even my arm.

i'm not a one tool guy :D. got a 5 gallon bucket, it's got stuff in, and when they get dull, or chip, or whatever, they go into the "deal with it bucket'.

over the years, almost all that damage, amounts to "clean pitch, stone, file if needed, strop if desired, back into duty". love that in a working tool.

Pearl grip and Da Backups

I have one to own one. For my money tho, I'll take the RBK any day. Not that I don't like the Bundock - but I find the King more generally useful, and the RBK just....well, it's an RBK.

What granite says is true. I have them all and I used BK20 extensively second half of 2016 and the knife is awesome, but little bit
to heavy on the tip. On smaller task even on some branches chopping etc your hand (little finger mostly) will get tired fast. And I really like huge knives. Previously I thought, that only the ramp is missing on the BK20, but the knife is really too big even for me (I am 6´7").

In the past, I thought that BK9 and BK21 are little bit thin - no more. Ethan knows the best, what he is doing. Thick and weight are exacly spot on. BK9 is the best universal knife for me - perfect size, perfect weight and not too much heavy on the tip. And I like the ramp.
So my ideal combo is BK9 for everything, BK21 for chopping and BK15 for smaller tasks. Also I am using BK2 for box cutting etc. at home, but for another stuff it´s too short for me. BK5 with new smooth coating is really good kitchen knive for camping.
Most peoply probably prefer BK7 because of the size as a universal knife, but for me 9 is like 7 for standart sized guy.

So I recommend 9 + some small one (15 is gone so 16) and 21 for chopping. You don´t need expensive 20 - buy 9+21 instead ;-).
