I've just bought a ZT0350 a few days back. So far I love and admire it, however.... Just a few minutes ago while playing with it I've notised when I put a tight grip on a handle I get a bit up and down blade play. I guess my hand squizes the liner lock a bit and alowing it. Is this a common problem? Can it be fixed or am I worried about nothing? I'm a bit of a perfectionist so it does bother me a little.

As long as the blade has no up and down play while there is NO pressure on the liner lock you should be fine.

I have the same issue with the Skyline. A tight grip causes up and down play in the blade. I've used it hard with no lock fails. Also, keep in mind that the flipper acts as a guard that will protect you from closing the blade on your hand. I think you should be fine. If you're truly worried about it, see Thomas' post in regards to warranty.
