I can't take it anymore! I have a serious case of the fever! Decided that come sub-zero temps or more of the seemingly endless white stuff I have to get out in the woods this weekend!

Anybody else feeling the cabin fever???

Yes, I went snow tubing with the family out in Boone n.c. 6 hour drive all round for 1 hour of snow tubing. We were going nuts also, getting depressed, but we did feel better after. I may going 4 wheeling this weekend even thou it's a bit chilly for that. We will see, got to do something.

Fever? I got one, along with the chills and achey body. Still working each morning, I never was too bright.

No problems here at all, there's plenty of wood on the piles and the snow conditions are decent, one can go anywhere on the trails and lakes. The ice is thick on the lakes and a power auger is a good friend. When the biting flies come out in droves then I can speak up about cabin fever:(

I spent half the day yesterday piling up snow - Sunday I'm going to carve a hut in it.

Was able to make it out for a snow romp with Mr. Boots. The snow was thigh deep in some spots and my dog would vanish and then suddenly pop back up out of the thick stuff. I tried to follow some x-country ski tracks as they were frozen and packed, making the travel a bit easier.

The winter woods do have a kind of unique beauty to them and I really needed some time out. I would have liked to hang out longer, maybe build a little fire but there's always next time.

So Photobucket decided to start working...
