Next week starting Thursday there will be the ABANA conference in Rapid City South Dakota.
Blade Smiths Kirk Rexroad, Ed Caffery and I will be doing separate demonstrations.
Also present and doing a demonstration will be Kevin Gray, a metallurgical mining engineer who was a student at one of our seminars. He will be set up next to our (Chris Amos) and I. He has been studying the influence of rate of reduction, multiple quench and all the methods we have been discussing for years.
For those who are interested in the technical aspects, he will be there to answer questions, Chris and I will be demonstrating low temp forging, post forging quenches, torch hardening of blades and much more. Available will be the technical aspects as well as our simple to understand explanations for the layman.
It starts on the 18th, if interested contact ABANA for times and dates of presentations and the location.
