Abbreviated steel liners?

On Coldsteel's website the description of the g10 espadas claims that the g10 frame has abbreviated steel liners. Does anybody know what they mean by that exactly? Like the steel liners don't follow through the full length of the handle? or they aren't fully sized to fit the scales?

maybe it's similar to a standard spyderco millie's liners (they're not full handle length)?... Only 1/2 the handle more or less.

or is it just more crazy CS marketing jargon?

I looked at CS's website as well - there's no clarification there.
