If you are like me, some of the abbreviations can be confusing. I am sure I will catch on, I'm not completely daft, but here is something I compile with the help of Karda. It is a very short, hardly comprehensive, list of the abbreviations I have seen used or can find otherwise or that Karda found for me searching (until I pay for my membership payday). Should you see some that are not here, please just add them to this post and I will add them to the PDF and re-upload the new file as we make this more comprehensive.

I hope some folks find some of these PDFs I have made, this is the third so far, helpful. I am working on a couple of others now, like one with Maintenance and another with definitions in them. I think this sort of makes this information a bit more portable for all and accessible off line as well.

AST or ASTK- Amar Singh Thapa (Knife)
JKM1- James K. Mattis 1st design (Finnish style knife)
EK- Everest Katana
EKK- Everest Kothimora Katana
Perhaps SD- Sgian Dubh for the Rusty SD

Some may be old but its about all I can think of right now.

Well, I have updated it with the ones stickfred added plus one I learned as well...
GMBAK- Gentleman's Utility Baby Ang Khola which I have one of and had to ask Yangdu what it meant. :o
 
Final Version

OK Folks, I have made it clear you have the FINAL VERSION of this document by relocating it to this new URL above. It also now bears the "Final Version, April 2010" notation along its base. Unless I get some new abbreviations, this will be it. I also renamed the PDF to KhukAbrv.pdf and will be, if needed, renaming all future versions accordingly to avoid confusion. I should have done this from the start and I ask forgiveness for my shortsightedness. :o
