Very cool! Where did you make it, at home or in the field? How well does it cut, compared to a similar shaped/sized steel blade. What about the durability, edge chipping etc..

Everything on the knife was made in the field except the artificial sinew. It cuts well, but it is what it is a blade made out in the field.I will not be battioning it through anything LOL!! Durabiity it should last for some time if used right ,heck if I drop it on a rock the blade is toast!! One of the best things about making stuff like this is knowing how well we have it using modern tools!

Man, love this kind of stuff. I have collected several arrowheads over the years, but have never attempted making one. Good stuff brother.
 
That is good work .
I have seen very similar traditional stone tools , both what I have turned up poking around old ( ancient ) camps and what I have seen being used made by people still keeping the skills alive .
