Do they only come with a black blade? Or can you get a satin blade?

As far as I know they only come from Benchmade in black.

I wish they did make em' in satin. But, I hate to alter one with the high alloy content they will easily rust.
I'm not sure how quick it will rust. I have a couple of Dozier D2 blades, satin finished and I have never had any rust problems (and I live in a salt water area). However, I am also very careful with my knives.
D2 is almost stainless steel. With proper care, I really don't think it should be a problem.

Yea, I was going to mention the Doziers, the D2 EDC and the new D2 Deer Hunter and Bird & Trout from AG Russell. All are uncoated D2.
My 806D2 has only been naked for a couple weeks, but no problems so far. I scrubbed the BT stuff :barf: off my 806D2's blade with a new scotchbrite pad (after removing the blade), polished it to a nice satin finish, resharpened it and put it back. Did it all in one evening.
