I am new to this forum and still learning my way around. I have two JK Knives and a third is on its way. Two more coming behind that!
I am a firearms instructor for a LARGE government entity. I travel quite a bit.
I enjoy time in the outdoors and spending time on my Harley when I can. I have been collecting knives for better than 20 years. I have recently become a big fan of JK Handmade Knives. I have many custom makers pieces in my collection including Pat Crawford, Randall, Chris Reeve, Bob Dozier and others.
I look forward to seeing the pictures and watching and learning from this forum.......................

Welcome Blake! I could probably use your help as my last range outing was showing a bit of rust on my pistol skills.

Hi Blake -

Congrats on finding Stomper and his great custom knives!

Your job sounds interesting.

I am getting ready to buy a Rock River Arms ar15 lower with competition trigger, and a White Oak Armament upper, 20" 1 in 12 twist in .223.

I plan on getting very consistent with this piece at 50 yards, mostly just for fun, and also planning on a little varmit hunting.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you stick around, so I can selfishly ask you questions lol....

best regards -

Hey Blake, good to see you posting! Your other one should be there today, I shipped it Thursday.

I was going through old records, and you are at least the 5th firearms trainer to own my knives. I think that`s pretty cool!

You`re starting to sound like Yosemite Sam! :D

Thanks for the big welcome, guys! I love talking gun and knives ANYTIME!! When it comes to knives, I am a fixed blade EDC kinda guy. When it comes to handguns, I am a GLOCK kinda guy. I am also a Glock certified armorer but I dont get much work because Glocks dont typically break too often!!!! I will be happy to answer any questions that come my way.......

Can you make the Gathering in May?

Welcome to the JK Brotherhood Buddy! I'm sure you will enjoy hanging out here, and there are always a few tid bits to pick up here and there. Love talking guns when I can too. I am into Glock's too but, I only own one! I love knives! I am working on trying to get some photos of my latest JK set scanned to the area that I need to transfer from but, it all takes time. At the moment I am restricted to sitting up just a couple of hours a day, after a back surgery. I'm sure we will run into each other here and there. Take care and stay safe.

Well, FrontierTom good luck with your recovery. Hope it goes well. You only need to own one Glock, take the money you would spend on more Glocks and BUY MORE ROUNDS for the one you have and shoot it ALOT!! Being proficient with one is far better than being mediocre with several!! Besides, then you can buy more JK Handmade Knives!! Just sayin.......

I agree on the one Glock theory. At one time I had a 17, 19, 26, and 21, now I only have the 17, and have modified it for my wife. I still like them, but don`t get out as much as I would like to shoot them. My daughter has a 22 and 27.

I have to ask, HOW did you modify it for your wife? I have one of the first six Glock 17s ever imported into the U.S. back in the early 80s. I can easily document 350,000 rounds through it and it has yet to break or malfunction, still going strong. I carry a G19 with
Cor-Bon ammunition. The only modification I make is the installation of XS Big Dot Tritium
Sights. I install those sights on EVERY weapon I own (shotguns and rifles included) because they are the best available and my sight picture is always the same no matter the weapon.

I shortened the grip frame to 19 specs and added Heinie Straight 8 sights. She liked the longer sight length of the 17, but prefered the 19 size grip. Functionaly, it has never jammed in over 11,000 rounds. It is her favorite firearm. She has owned a Taurus 85, a Glock 19, a S&W Ladysmith 9mm, and a Berretta .380, but she really likes this one and shoots it well, so it became hers.
