I recently bought a Bader 111 grinder, as a new knife maker any recomendations at to the type of abrasive materials and the brand of sanding belts?
Also which grits to get?
I suggest sticking to ceramic anywhere you can and AO/SC where you can't and then try out several different structured abrasives to see if any work better for you. You won't need more than one or two of each type of structured abrasive belt to determine if you like a particular one and they tend to last.
Call Pop's and ask him if you can give you a starter belt package.
