When will the Dodo and ChinookII be released to the public at large?

I think the Dodo is this month or next(soon). I don't know about the Chinook.

What does the MSRP look like on both these models? Not too steep I hope.

Well, if they're always just about to come out, but somehow don't, they can have the highest or lowest MSRP of a premium production folder and it won't matter too much. I'd imagine the Chinook II will be a little more expensive than the Chinook and the Dodo will cost a pretty penny, too. For a knife with G-10 scales and a ball-bearing lock, it will cost more than similarly-sized Spydies.

As I understand, the Chinook remains the same and the Dodo is listed at $125 MSRP.

I'm with Thom, I'd like to take a Dodo in and care and nurture one as well...hopefully they will be out before too long...as funds have a way of auto-depleting themselves!

Have you tried the Kiwi yet? They look swell, but I haven't found anything my 921 can't do yet. That said, there are so many Spydercos and Benchmades I want this year.

Yep, had one for a day, didn't fit my hand well, slick looking and well built though!

Well, as much as I want you to buy a 921 and keep it , I think that you should get a Dodo first. I want a Dodo, too. It looks so sturdy and versatile. Maybe it isn't, but it looks that way.
