For those of you who have used these, how do you like them? And does the sheath supply carrying space for the two fixed blade knives?

It would be best to move this to the HI forum.

The karda and chakmak serve as a small utility knife and a sharpening/burnishing tool. The HI kardas are usually excellent knives in their own right. Both tools fit neatly into built in slots just behind the main blade.

I like 'em. The karda is a little utility knife-- works really well in conjunction with the larger khukuri blade. The other knife isn't actually a knife; it's called a chakmah, and it doesn't have an edge. It is used like a little sharpening steel to maintain the blade edge. Before the advent of lighters, it was also used as a striker with a piece of flint to start fires. There are little leather loops behind the main blade that hold the two smaller tools. The workmanship usually isn't up to quite the same standard as the main blade, but they are very functional and make a nice addition to the overall package.

Oh, sorry 'bout that, forgot about the other forums. Umm.. can I move the thread or does a mod/admin have to?

Edit: Thanks to the two of you.
