Is it possible to do some 3D sculpting of the stock G10 scales to create a convex surface that leaves the G10 side with the same edge thickness as the Ti side, without computerized tools? Or, failing that, is there someone who does that mod for people with OCD?

There is a thread out there somewhere with a few pics of custom work on the Southard. Anything is possible...

Here's a video of what I'd like to do, but I don't even understand the terms he uses. What is a "CC shape"?

I don't care about the anodizing although it looks nice.

CC means Concealed Carry as coined by strider to show beveled edges for less "printing" and more comfort. I'd either take it to a belt sander and shorten the body screws or send it to a "pimper" ..... if you dont shorten the body screws if you bevel the edges to much they will stick out.

CC'ing a knife, like Randy shows in that video, involves rounding the edges of the handle scales so they're more ergonomic and less likely to show an outline while in the pocket.

Thanks. With the xtra thick G10 they may have left enough intending to do this as an upgrade, or intended to do it to the production models and then to save cost cancelled that. Should have been the way they're all made, though.
