I love my busse boss jack as a standalone woods tool, but i much prefer taking my new Rodent 9 and my trusty buck 105 or kabar!

The busse doesnt carve as well as my buck. Now that said my buck doesnt chop at all. And now with the Rodent 9, which chops very well and funcrions quite nicely as a knife. My buck is light enough i dont notice it which is good because the swamp rat is a sizeable peice of steel. I dont really like going into the woods ultra light, so the boss jack really isnt my thing.

Thanks for explaining. I'm not really a believer in "standalone" knives either. They usually do a lot OK by not doing anything well.
