I have a Random Leek with the S30v and frame lock and I wanted to take the name side aluminum panel on a standard red and smoke leak and pair it with the frame lock side with the s30v blade...my question is before I take them all apart is will I need different size screws if so which ones and were can I get them.

Just trying to save some time before I take everything apart...

Also I have never Frankenleeked before, so anything tricky I should look out for?

Thanks!

I have never seen a difference, i think the scales/handles are the same, and screws should be as well.

I tried pairing the G10 non-locking scale with a steel framelock, and that didn't work for me. The blades seem interchangeable, but mixing the scales for the liner and frame lock models doesn't seem to be.

This is the only situation you need to worry about. For example, if you're putting a G-10 scale on a frame lock Leek you would need longer screws. Shallot screws work just fine.

Oh that's a good combo, I might have to try it!

Very cool! I'll have to give that a try.
