About to get a new phone (Verizon)

Hello all,
I'm about to renew my wireless plan. I have Alltel right now, but they suck at my house (we drop about 1/3 of our calls from our house). I don't have a home phone, so I need a phone with good reception. I used to have a Razr, but I washed it. I really liked the Razr. I don't want internet and I don't really like qwerty keyboards. I will be carrying this in my pocket. I will be using this phone for mostly for texting, talking, and taking pictures every now and again. Also, what seems to be the best service right now?

Please recommend me a good phone.

I love this one, every week, I back up all my data to my laptop and it is automatic once plugging it into the usb port. If I lose the phone, I still have the phone number data base.

I have and love Verizon. I also have an EnV that I love as well. It is an excellent phone.

Perhaps you already did this, but maybe look to see what phones Verizon has on their website, pick the one with the features you like, then Google that phone to see if it is a POS or works good.

I've had Verizon for years; On the west half of the US it has great coverage (never had when back east).

Verizon recently bought Alltel. So if switching companies is going to cost money or create inconvenience, you may as well wait and get switched for free.

I use an LG EnV2. The is by far the best text/talk phone I have ever used. it's solid, well built, and I can sync it with my PC via Bluetooth to transfer data. I can also send email as text because I cant see paying extra for having my email sent to my phone if I just want to send it.
