about to make the leap

ok so I have been lurking around the forum for a while and have decided to give it a shot I have a few of the things I need but I was wondering if it is possible to make a gas forge from an old co2 cylinder. thanks for all the help in advance

Any cylinder from 8-12" in diameter works fine.
