Hi guys and ladies,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a small sebenza carbon fiber.
But I need your advice, experience, anything that you know or think about this knife.
I own a few sebenzas already but I would love to know what you guys have to say about the carbon fiber exclusive model.

I really appreciate any input...:)
Thanks a lot!
Alex

I own a few sebenzas myself and I will tell you that the small CF is well balanced and very light in the hand. It feels solid and inspires confidence when using, buy it and you'll notice the difference right away.

Thanks Dinokay!
That was my main concern... Was worried the knife might loose the sturdy feel.
Lightness is good but not at the cost of tha "vault feel".

I read a thread where someone said Chris Reeve himself was toting a large CF Sebenza....so if it's good enough for him, and I always appreciate his attention to detail and custom-like tolerances on a production knife, it should be good to go.

Thanks Lisantica,
I saw on your YouTube channel that you have one. What is your opinion on the carbon fiber that is used?
I imagine its a total different feel than the TI, but how does it compare in terms of solidity? Any flex in the frame?
I know it must be a great knife, just trying to make a very educated decision.
Thanks a lot for the input!

I have since sold the one(s) I had, as I needed funds for another CRK purchase at that time. I did like the CF version, actually prefer it to plain scales, personal preference. I like decorated scales best though :)

I purchased a large numbered carbon fiber and it quickly become my primary EDC. I have never owned a smoother Sebenza, and the weight can't be beat. I will most certainly be purchasing a small carbon fiber insigno when it becomes available :) (a guy can hope can't he?)

I agree Lisa. Having owned both the plain jane small 21 and a carbon fiber 21, in my opinion the added estetics of the carbon fiber made the knife more desirable as well.

Greetings:

I share Kinagoo's questions as well. I also can't tell what the texture of the CF is like from pictures. Is it grippy or smooth? I apologize if I'm intruding in this thread!

Cheers,
Isaeus

The more the merrier...:) great info for anybody looking into a CF sebenza. I couldn't find many threads about this knife.

Anybody care to share pictures of your carbon fiber model? :D

Pictures are not the greatest but here you go.

I haven't owned any other CRK's but I have small # 25/50 as my EDC. I haven't carried much else since this past Christmas when I received it. Great knife. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again. The fit and finish is excellent (as I would expect of CRK) and the carbon fiber doesn't feel "flimsy" at all. No complaints from me.
