About Tops knives with serration..

is tops knives' serration too thick for sawing?

i think purpose of serration is cutting rope easily or sawing up a log quickly..

but tops knives' serration is too thick to cut rope or saw up a log.. isn't it??

The serrations on the blade spines tend to work like a chainsaw, which actually work fairly decent when compared to most knive companies that advertise "sawback" on thier product.

Also works great for busting barb-wire if your into that sort of thing.
