I've known about these guys since way before I arrived in the cantina - I was once directed to the HI page about their forging.

Just one thing - I have no idea how these are available, or for what price. They sound like good knives, and really, they'd have to be.

So, someone talk to me about village khukuris?

They are good knives -- tough and reliable. They are roughly finished and not pretty. We get them two ways. One, if Pala or Gelbu are traveling in Nepal they often buy some "local" khukuris. Two, once in awhile a villager, not always a kami, will bring some knives to BirGorkha.

We never know when we are getting them, what they will be, or how many. It's just a hit and miss proposition.

I'd like to get more of them than I do.

Well, I look forward to hearing about the next bunch, whenever that may be.
