Abrasive Grease ?'s

I have some questions about abrasive grease sticks.

What are the pros and cons of using an abrasive grease on grinding belts?
If you use it on your belts, what grits do you find it most effective for?
Any particular products that you would recommend?
What should one know about applying it to be most effective?

I have searched for answers but not much came up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

IMHO it is a waste of time and grease.I tried it and mainly just got a lot of grease flung on me and the equipment.Good belts,properly picked for the job,plus variable speed, eliminate the need.

Is not "abrasive grease" an oxymoron??
