Unless you're doing a regrind or reprofiling to fit your tastes...When would sharpening with hones, stones, sandpaper, or other aggressive media ever be needed?

Short of killing traffic signs, like David Brown does, that is.... :p

I have yet to have to "sharpen" (in the traditional sense) my CGFBM, even after feeling like I broke my hand in some narly osage orange a couple of summers back, and some frozen firewood this December...

I mount her in my bench vise ( why are yall giggling? ) and run my oval Spyderco ProFile across the edge...

If I'm in the mood I will give her the once-over with my Harbor Fright 1" belt sander equipped with a leather belt...that's all I've ever needed to get back to razor...

I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!!???! :o

Not hard enough use, perhaps? Or is INFI just THAT AMAZING?
