Evening all, I recieved my new Blade today and noticed the article on the ABS members and awards at the Blade show. It is written by someone named Pinnock. Excellent article and If Roger did not already have a career he ought to think about becoming a writer. Roger you did a great job, and thank you again for your support and company outside that door. I really appreciated it.

I think it's about time I got a subscription. All I have around here are KIs from like 2006:rolleyes: time to get with the times.

Thanks Brion and all - I'm looking forward to seeing that one in print. It was a tremendous bonus having Buddy Thomason agree to shoot some pics of the event - can't wait to see those shots in the mag.

Thanks Roger, it was a pleasure collaborating with you! The article turned out very nice indeed, both text and images.

Hats off to Steve Shackleford, BLADE Magazine editor, for his role in getting it into print so quickly after the show, and for his on-going interest in and support of the ABS and custom knife world which, as we all know, is a pretty small part of the much larger general knife world. Steve is one of the finest editors around - a real pro who makes a tough job look easy.

Congratulations to all the ABS award winners, new JS and MS bladesmiths and to you as well, Roger. What I appreciate most about your writing is a quality all the best writers have - you know how to stay out of the way of your message. :thumbup:

reading Kevin and Roger's articles online has given me the final push I need to subscribe, and subscribe I did:thumbup:
 
Steve Shackleford has always supported the ABS as evidence of him coming to the Big Sky Country Hammer In this year. Great job Steve and Roger.
