For anyone who might be interested, I spoke with Jim Crowell this morning and he informed me that the class scheduled for September 12-23 is going to be a very low attendance class, only two people. Normally Texarkana College would reschedule the class in order to have a more full attendance, but the two student scheduled are traveling from outside of the continental U.S. Due to the fact that these two personnel have already booked and paid for thier travel accomodations, the "show will go on" so to say.

This would be the ideal opportunity for someone who has been wanting to attend the Intro Class and desires more "One On One" time. To top it off, the Piney Woods Hammer-In will be the weeked of September 17-18th and even more amazing makers will be in attendance to offer tips and advice. The Intro Class has been changed up a bit from the schedule. Jim Crowell, MS will be teaching week one as scheduled and James Cook, MS will be teaching week two. Jim has told me that Tim Portier, MS will be visiting and assisting him with the first week of class as opposed to teahing week two. I really wish I was in a position to attend the class, it sounds as though the students will be getting a once in a life-time opportunity to work one on one with some of the best makers in the world and attend the Hammer-In where even more of the top makers will be teaching workshops.
