Thought I would share this beauty that Jon just finished for me, many have already seen on IG. Jon has only been making slip joints for a couple of years and I got to inspect his first two he did in W2 a while back, and they were spot on. This one was originally slated for black lip, but it flaked around the center pin, so we decided to use some bog oak I left with him for another project. I think it turned out great and Jon enjoyed working with the bog oak. Jon's mosaic damascus is among the best, IMO. Now we just need to see a lock back, Jon! Thanks for looking,

I think the bog oak looks great on there Kris. It has its own character but doesn't take away from the pattern of the damascus. Congrats man! I look forward to seeing more pics of it.

I like this folder very much. The first word that popped into my mind for the Damascus is "HARMONIUS"
