Steel A2 thickness 6.3mm (0.24'').
Total length of 37,5 cm (15""). Length blade 25.5 cm (10'').
S-Guard steel aisi 416, handle Eucalyptus burl and black vulcanizer spacer. But cap silver and damascus.

I think it needs a spacer, and for some reason the handle looks too short, but in your hand it looks fine.
This is my first Bowie.
I don't know very this type of blade. I beg you to tell me what things mistake so I try to improve for the next one.

That's a very good attitude for a new maker. It will take you far:thumbup:

You have a good basic design with nice handle and blade profiles.
Like the way you applied your sanded blade finish vertically rather than lengthwise, probably because I don't see it very often.

But, in my opinion;

The smokestack thing coming out of the butt of the knife makes the handle appear too short even though it's not. It really distracts from the overall appeal of the knife.

As stated by Keith, a spacer/ferrule would add artistically.

The "S" guard; though sound in concept is too radical. Cut the length down a bit.

As said, I like the blade profile however it needs a top clip.
