...fixed blades until I get a folder done. This is my last one. The bench has been wiped off, the epoxy put away, pins put in the pin drawer...out comes the titanium, 1-72 screws, 3/16 pivots...

This is a drop point hunter heavily based on Steve Johnson's Special Hunter. if I could get mine to look 1/10th as good as his, I would be happy, indeed.

3-1/2" ATS-34 blade, 8" overall length, 416 stainless bolsters and pins, hand rubbed satin finish on blade and bolsters, tapered tang, and some very pretty stag.

This one is not available

Why would you want to drive yourself nuts with a folder when you do fixed blades so well?

Dog-man,

As punishment for making a knife that isn't in the realm of SR Johnson's work......you must sent that crappy stag and metal thang that you call a knife to me ~ ~ immediately !

Bob,
Looking real good as usual! Be careful, folders can be addictive!

Breaking taps can cause you real grief too!

HAVE FUN!!

Now you KNOW that folder is already spoken for, so don't EVEN try and sell it to anyone else.

Fair warning!

Bob,
I like that one BEST of all!!

There's nothing quite like the cold chill that runs up your spine when those little taps break

Looking forward to seeing the first folder AND flicking it

Bob,

It's amazing how far you've come with knifemaking.

And you've given a lot to the knife community; your knives, web design, and your involvement with CKD.

Good luck with your folder project. I'll be watching for the end result.

Ron

Is that a threat or a promise?
Ever time I break a tap its cause Im not paying attention, like today when my dentist came over to sponge some AR magazines off me and I looked up while running a tap thru some .165" 6/4!!
