abused/used police model serated

I just got a used and abused Spyderco Police model with the polished metal handle. The blade is fully serrated and the blade is marked GIN-1, Seki, Japan. There is a small notch knocked out of the edge between the serrations and the tip of the blade. The knife blade is pretty dull overall. I knew it was in rough shape when I got it but I am not sure I can deal with it. How hard is it to sharpen the serrated blades? does Spyderco offer sharpening services? if so, how much?
