Hi guys,
I have the opportunity to buy one of these knives with the intention to use it as an EDC / small knife for when I am outdoors. I am also considering getting one of those pocket sheaths from KSF and pairing this knife with a small AAA flashlight and may be a firesteel.
While outdoors the knife will mostly used to do light fire work, camping chores and fish cleaning. For anything bigger I have my machete, but my primary intention is to keep this knife always with me.
My questions are twofold, first on functionality how well would it perform on the tasks above? And second on how its steel will fare the high humidity of a subtropical climate?
Thanks + Regards

Is the steel on the Little Carver 3v or A2? They are both carbon steel but I do believe that the 3v has better corrosion resistance. As long as you keep it clean and oiled both should be fine. I have a Little Creek in A2 which is almost the same size just a different blade shape. It is small but I am sure that it can handle the duties you described. I say go for it.

Thanks Runit, I think the steel is 3V.
Will order it right now, should make a good Christmas present from me to my self.
