​...are apparently only valid for women.. Sitting in my office tinkering with my XMs and have the valet open on my credenza w/ my RHK stuff in it. Wife walks in, looks in said box and asks, "so, you can swap out the handles?". I, thinking she's interested, proceed to tell her all about G10 vs Ti Vs CF, ano vs SB vs SW, standoffs and lanyard beads! She listens and remarks, "so, they're kinda like those watches teenage girls wore in the '80's - Swatches right?" Then says, "you're gay" and walks out.

AND I'm the DD tonight.. it's gonna be a fun one...:o

That's quite a collection you have there AZ2AK. I like that box you have them in. I'll have to get something like that for my accessories. Right now mine are all in my safe.

Thanks! The box is just an old, cheap dresser valet - I think I picked it up at some home store somewhere. I'm on the lookout for something better/nicer - I'll probably have to break down and design/build one myself. Could be a fun indoor winter project in a couple of months.. I should probably keep them in the safe but I like looking at them/hauling them out too much. The box is convenient though, I can just shove the whole thing in the safe when we're out of town.
 
That is a great idea to build one yourself. I am going to do that also. Why didn't I think to do that!? I have some great hardwood stored in my workshop. I'll post pictures in a few weeks.

Nice collection!!! I love the many scales and extra Hinderer stuff! You appear to be a bit of a neat freak! ;)

Lol, a bit - I blame my mom ;) After I took this pic I had to line up the standoff... My OCD flares up from time to time, then I have a beer or two :)
 
need to start getting to work on giving those beads and patches some homes, seems some of those XM's are lanyard lonely :cool:
 
Yeah, I'm torn about that. I've tried using a lanyard and bead for a bit and I'm not sure I like it.. I'll probably give it another go before I make up my mind for good..
