I have a tiny SAK which I often carry when a larger knife would be inappropriate. As standard, it comes with a very useful set of tweezers, and a rather useless tooth pic...

I am wondering if anybody makes a small watch makers screwdriver as a replacement for the tooth pic? I feel a small screwdriver would be much more useful tool for this little knife..

If it's relevent, I am in the UK,

Thanks in advance,

Peter

Hi, Peter.

Does your SAK come with a corkscrew? You probably could get an accessory mini-screwdriver to put on the corkscrew which is a really small flat head.

No, this particular model doesn't, but thanks anyway...I have already added one of those to another SAK I have, and as a glasses wearer, I have found it very handy so that's what inspired me to ask about a tooth pick replacement version....

View attachment 1497768 TSA approved the Wenger Swiss Clipper for carry on. The main blade was modified into a screw driver. You may be able to shape an undesired blade on your knife into a mini screw driver.
T-PIK makes a very useful tooth pick. It is curved and tapered and can push and pull stuck food.View attachment 1497767

That is the coolest mod I've seen in a long time. I might need to do that. Can I please see the other side of the modded blade?

It took a minute to find that knife. I haven’t been doing a lot a flying lately. The screwdriver blade is 1mm thick. The distal end is 1.6mm wide. The screwdriver bit is tapered on one side, and the tip is 0.4mm thick. This blade was made in the Wenger factory (is not modded).

Thanks, bro. I appreciate you hunting it down and taking pics. I might mod one now, but which one, and which blade?

It's the Classic SD I believe...it's a lovely little knife that is far more useful than I initially anticipated....
It should have a driver tip on the end of the nail file then, and it would be very easy to reshape it into a finer eyeglass screwdriver.
If it doesn't have it, it's a regular classic and it would be even easier to shape the pointed nail cleaning tip into an eyeglass screwdriver.
