I picked up an ESEE accessory pouch to mount on the BK2 sheath, now just gotta decide how I am gonna mount it. Shock cord and paracord are some options I have seen. I went with the OD green, but I think I will use one of my altoid tins instead of the supplied tin.

looks good.... the wire clamps use used for the firesteel, are they metal or plastic/nylon? I haven't been able to find any of the metal ones in smaller diameters.

Have you looked at the chicago screws ? Is that an option for you ? I had my bk7 sheath made with the pouch in mind. But before that, I thought about sewing a cordura nylon backing to the pouch then mounting that to the sheath. but I guess every app.is diff.

They're just plastic cable clamps I picked up at the hardware store.

And they are an absolutely ingenious idea! I put them on my bk2 and gerber prodigy.
It really is, isn't it.

I'll probably pick up the wire clamps this weekend, I'll have to look into to the Chicago screw mount also.

I have found for field use, i prefer the paracord. It doesn't stretch or come out of the knot and cord lock I use, but is dang easy to fix or replace and it comes off easily as well as goes on the same.

I used chicago screws and zip ties.

If you look close you can see the black zip ties on the two bottom holes that don't line up with the sheath. I also used the lower half of an ESEE MOLLE back to make a drop rig for it.

In my i used paracord too ... I think paracord is the best option to secure the pouch..
