Accidental BK9 durability test

Well...

From previous but rare posts, you guys know I customize my blades a lot. Stripping, patina(s), bluing, as well as unposted spine filings and Kydex sheaths I’ve been making...I’ve played with my copious amount of Beckers a great deal and value my blades.

My BK9 is stripped, blued, and used heavily. Last night, I was hand edging parts of the yard that I didn’t get with the edger before breaking down boxes with it in the garage.

Like a sleep-deprived, absent-minded fool, I left it on some large coverpapers on the garage floor before I pulled the wife’s car into the garage...running over the knife at a diagonal direction.

When the wife pulled outta the garage this morning...The King took another roll over.
After seeing the knife on the floor and nearly chitting myself, I noticed that the knife was unbent, undamaged, and ready for more.

In my book...That’s good stuff.

My foot has been run over and suffered no damage other than to my ego from the unmanly shriek I made.
Not surprising the mighty BK came out unscathed.
But seriously, take better care of your sharp things, coulda cost the price of a new tire and you'll find you can buy a few BK9's for the price of a new hoop for the wifes car.

I bet the King didn't cry Uncle even after being pinned. And probably threw the car off of him!!!!!

I do take good care of my sharp things; However, mistakes happen and sleep deprivation takes its toll from time to time.

And yes to all of the above-I do believe that the King threw the car upwards for a brief moment.

Take that bad boy on the t.v. show, "Knife or Death" and really put it through a durability test.

Glad everything turned out okay for both the 9 and the car tire.

I’ve been watching the show and hoping to see someone bring a BK on it. My choice would be the 21.

Sounds like some Chuck Norris quotes could happen.

Used the car as a blanket.
