I recently chipped about a 1mm ( maybe a little less or more I didn't measure it ) but very tiny little chunk out of my brass pommel, I don't have a picture of it but it is a rough chunk missing fairly small in size, an eye sore for me at the very least. I don't know if the pommel is solid brass so I don't know if it could be just ground down or what have you to erase it. The knife is a fixed blade vanguard 192 from Buck knives. Definitely would say somehow the tiny piece is actually missing rather then just a scratch, the pommel hit bricks direct contact by mistake so it got it good but only in a tiny area, thanks!

Buck has a great rep for customer service, and for their 'spa treatment' for old/worn/damaged knives. I'd bet they could make this easy for you. Might give them a call. I'd think that'd be the best bet.
