I was swapping knives around and pulled out my old EDI Genesis II to carry today. Wednesday I was carrying my old Benchmade Leopard and I noticed that the pivot was a bit stiff so I tried to add a bit of lube. I played with it some to see if it would loosen up and then put it back in the drawer. I was about to close the drawer and I was thinking "OK, what knife am I going to carry today" and I pulled out the Kershaw Blur S30V and stuck it in my pocket. I got to work and I have this habit of touching my knife and sliding it to the edge of my pocket, but something wasn't right. I had both knives clipped in the same pocket. In the process of fooling around this morning I had forgotten that I put the EDI in my pocket and put the Blur in right after it. I left the Blur in the car and stayed with the EDI.
Even though I always want new knives, the EDI has all of the characteristics of size, blade shape, lock type, clip position, etc. that I like. I would like it better if the blade was satin and not bead blasted.
