Account upgrade

Well, I logged on and found my basic membership had ran out. I went and paid for a Gold membership. I got the receipt and I'm able to search again and I have my pm's back but the account isn't Gold yet.

If I read correctly, am I waiting for Spark to do a manual "transaction" to turn my Gold membership on now?

No, Manual Activation is only required for foreign accounts.

You need to go to your User CP and under the "group memberships" tab at the left, choose the gold membership level and hit the "update display group" button at the bottom.
