Saw some awesome cars this weekend - I have been a car guy all my life, literally since my Dad has been a car guy.

I literally saw more top-shelf cars this weekend than at any other place in my life.

My dad and I visited Auburn Indiana, went through the beautiful Auburn, Cord Duesenberg museum, along with the American Car and Truck Museum (where we saw them setting up for the ACTM Auction that included some million dollar cars...), and we spent a full day at the RM Auction America center for the Kruse Auburn auction. Wow

A few pictures to whet your appetite -

looks like a great time spent with your Dad, thanks for sharing. What is the convertible your Dad is standing next to?

I`ve been to the Hudson Museum in Shipshewana Indiana, it`s pretty good too.

That's an awesome museum! I've visited a couple of times for an after hours open bar party. One of the door companies that we work with hosts them every year.

That is the Olds Fiesta - it was one of three special cars built for 1953 - the Eldorado (the red one next to it) the Fiesta, and the Buick Skylark (it had pulled out just before we entered that building). There were very few of these made (458) - I had never seen one at all, and you cannot find any models (1/18 anyway) of them.

It is one of my Dad's favorite cars, and you should have seen him light up when we walked into that building and literally it was the second car we walked up to!
