This is a custom ordered belt knife that I just finished up. This one is a remake of the the original one, complete with the heart Spanish notch.
The handles are some super curly maple, and the pins are copper.
The Oal is 8 3/8" with 4 1/4" blade of L6 saw steel. I started out making knives like this, it was kinda fun to do one again.
It will be getting a nice leather sheath.
Let me know what you think.

Ben, that's very nice the texture on the flats, the curly and the spanish notch are great details! Also your photos are a pleasure too!

Thanks guys!
The notch is drilled and then hand filed. Its time consuming, but fairly simple.

Smart looking notch. Looks like the cut doesnt go all the way through so wont hang up on something youre cutting. Brilliant. Whole package looks excellent as always.
