... a camp kitchen knife. The latest off my bench:

Blade: 6" x 1/8" of hand forged 1084(Aldo) flat ground with a 600 grit hand sanded finish.

Handle: Moose antler and Red Maple crotch-wood with a s.s. bolster and peened pin.

Sheath: Red Maple crotch-wood with an inlaid moose antler collar and an antler pin. The natural crack has been filled with black epoxy, and any punk-wood has been stabilized with CA glue.

Thank you for your interest,

Peter

What a thing of beauty.
Amazing, that a knife with so relatively simple elegant lines can be so overwhelming and over the top (I mean that as a compliment).....for lack of better words.

Your work always amazes me. That is incredible.

Thank you folks.

David - I'm sorry you're having trouble.
Anyone else have issues with the photos?

They are showing as thumbnails, unable to enlarge. I get a wall of text," screen image" stuff, when I click on the pics, Peter. Hope it's just me, though. Lol.

Pics working fine for me. Pettiest Seax style blade I think I've ever seen.
sheath extraordinarily creative. Marvelous work!

Bravo!
That void...LOVE it.

Another nice one Peter. I like the worm holes in the saya, nice touch.

Your photos are showing up as thumbnails (noticed this on your last piece also). Not sure if you are uploading them that way or postimage is shrinking them. They are only 180x120 pixels which is about 2"x3" on my monitor. Some may not notice if they are looking on a phone or have their resolution set to really low.
