Acherons!

everytime i see this knife i think of kershaw's shallot. very similar blade shape. how well does 5cr13 perform .. somewhere like 420 stainless?
 
I actually batonned with this little guy. However, I don't know how I feel about the edge retention yet.
 
I haven't used mine tons, as I actually find it really uncomfortable.

I would use it if I had to of course, but so far I've always had something else handy that I thought was better. I've actually batoned with mine as well, but mostly I did it because I was comparing it to the BK11 and wanted to see how it would fair in comparison.

I'll be interested to see what you think of the edge retention, as I haven't used mine enough to really worry about it yet.
 
I just bought 2 of them this week. Gonna make some scales for them then give one to my brother and keep the other for myself! They are cool and crazy cheap.
 
I heard those were forged in that river called Styx down in Hades, it's the one that the souls of the dead are ferried on, and a deal was made with the dark one to bring these bits to us mortals for a fair price of $9.19.... you heard the same thing right?...."come sail away, come sail away with me"...
