Acid etch on a big knife

Got this Timber Rattler Western Outlaw Bowie recently, and decided to personalize it with an acid etch. Wanted the knife to look used, too.

Used Radio Shack's Ferric Chloride Etching solution.

Am I totally happy with it? Not really, but I like it.

Q-tip can help fix or darken areas, just wipe on and rinse off. Easy way to put stripes on a blade.

My Buddy's cheap Mtech, It had a black coated blade, I added rock pattern acid etch and some file work for fun.
