Acid etch on s30V

Do you know if it's possible to obtain an acid etch on S30V, such that it would look like the beautiful etch done by Kerry Hampton on some of his knives? Or is there any way for obtaining a darker, patina like look? Just imagine a Sebenza or Mnandi like that...
