Acid etch over electroetched logo question

Hey all!

So I am aiming to darken a blade full using heated up apple cider soaking method. I have already etched a logo into the blade and curious if the process of forcing the full patina will have adverse effects on the logo or not. I figured etching after the patina would be tricky since I use acetone to remove the ink stencil and wouldn't want to streak the patina(not sure if that would do it or not to be honest.)

Any advice would be great!

It's not a problem at all, and people do it all the time with pattern-welded steel, acid-stonewashed blades, and so on. Etching prior to adding the patina is the way to go
