Acid etching benchmade 940

Hello guys! I'm showing off my benchmade 940 I dipped it in ferric chloride.
Yes yes let me say something before people start shouting out of their lungs, why did I do this to a $150 knife. The knife was already old and the Green finish on the handle was wearing off. And had a lot of scratches on the blade. So I did some etching! Used nail polish for the design.

Real texture, the handle got cooked more so it has more of a grip. Blade you can feel it but not as much.
 
Maybe later on today I'm going to do the same to my Keyshaw leek and if I do I'll post it here. I have to sand it down first because the black coating. Wish me luck !
