Has anyone acid stonewashed their SR-101 blades? I know Res-C is pretty resilient to many chemicals, but would a Res-C handle need to be removed prior to the wash in the rocks? I'm thinking about washing some of my SR-101 blades to assist with rust resistance and was wondering if anyone has already done this.
I think it would be a FANTASTIC alternative to coated AND satin finishes on the SR-101 blades. I would think it'd be a lot easier/faster/more time efficient to wash a batch of blades than it would be to coat, bead blast or satin finish them and they'd still come out with a tough "Ready for Anything" look.
All the Best,
