I got a used 551 Griptilian with an acid washed and stonewashed blade and clip. If I needed to send it in later let's just say for sharpening or a new blade later on would I have any problems?

If the knife is disassembled at any time yes that voids the warranty, according to BM.
Whether BM can tell is a different story.
A lot of us have BMs with custom scales but if I sent one back for service I would swap out the scales for the original ones before I sent it in.

FWIW, years back I stripped the BK coating off my 710D2, and send it to LifeSharp once or twice a year without issue. And replacing a blade is a simple charge, but I would leave the stonewashed clip at home when sending the knife in.

I just called them and they said their wouldn't be a problem as long as it isn't messed up due to the acid and stone washing

BM is pretty accommodating, just remmember, when filling out the warranty service form note what you would and would not like done to your knife
