Received these last week. They are by South African Maker Louis Naude.
Both are 12c27, 3 inch blades & ss fittings.
Hanles
Top- buffalo, jackaberry & leadwood.
Bottom- Tamboti woood with white spacers.
Both are great knives & sharp.
The bonus was that I had oordered the tamboti. He gave me the other for being his first Aussie customer. How good was that.
Cheers

Congratulations on a pair of very nice lockbacks.

I love lockbacks.

Fantastic blade shape.......
Nice African hardwoods as well.... Wow !!

Excellent .

I like that the wood is to the end of the knife. A lot of lockbacks have so much metal on each end that there is hardly room for the scales. Nice of him to toss in the extra! Nice workmanship and customer treatment.

Thanks guys,
Yeah the blade shape appealed very versatile.

Amos yep good workmanship customer service. His prices are very good to I think his dearest is only $180US start $140 dependinds on handle which he has quite a few options. I prefer single bolster on knives.
Amos hope this helped hold you over till your new queen arrives!
Cheers
Mitch
