The advanced screening of Act of Valor at the Brendan Theater (Palms Casino complex) was well attended.

The film was well done and according to Scott (the director who introduced the film prior to roll), this is the first film since the 1920's to use live ammo for some of the scenes. Many in the cast are true military personnel, and locations varied around the globe. Not much time to comment further in that I'm on flight delay but if you have had an opportunity to see it, any comments?

Just saw it. It kinda sucked, its not a movie its more of a demo. I enjoyed it but its not in any way a good story, the acting is terrible because theyre seals not actors. If you wanna see some cool gear and tactical scenarios its good fun. Lets keep this thread going to list the gear we pick up on, I only noticed some Oakley glasses and goggles, also Oakley tactical gloves, Mecanix gloves, Petzl headlamps, and the only knife I saw was like in one of the last scenes and it looks like a Spyderco Native.

No, let's not. This is Community, not Gadgets & Gear. Wanna' talk about the gear? Do it in the correct forum.
