Active duty ?

Hi, i`m new on this side of Bladeforums, greetz from Poland.

You see i always lie busse design but i truly loved active duty design, it would be great as my EDC, but i got one question.

What is SRP for AD ? I`m consider to trade my bm model 43 for AD but srp for bm43 is 180 $ (well, now maybe it`s worth more since it`s out of production) so i`d like to know if the`re any chances that i find someone that would like to trade...

Now isn't supose to be any "WTT" thread and hope i won`t get flammed for that. Thanks for any answers :)

I don't know what your BM is worth, but the Active Duty retails for around $267.00. I would say go for it. You will not be disappointed in this blade.

This is way to much at my budget right now so i only could wish for trade... I`ll start one thread in exchange forum, thanks for answering man.

Damnit i loved that AD, and i`d like to order one but busse`s website is down, do you know when it will be possible to order AD from busse`s website ?
Another question: Will they be any configuration options ? Like stonewashed edge, snakeskin nucarta handles ect. ?
Oh last thing: on badmojo website i read that est. price will be 187$ is it 100% sure price ?

Your best bet might be to call the shop directly or check with Dirk At Busse Germany (considering your geographical location). I can't address what options will be offered, but the website may well be ready to roll in the next week, if you can hang on.

That may be a typo on Ed's site if you go down to the bottom where the list of current AD prices, it is 267.00 if I remember right that is for the satin finish w/snake skin. The bead blasted ones with grey markita scales where 237.00 I believe.Hope this helps & good luck.
 
on the bottom ? where ? Damn i`m confused, i thought that it`ll be 187$ (And i`m saying about that new editions of AD - or how do you call it - which will be available only 1 month). Please correct me if i`m wrong...

Man i cannot call there because:

1. i`m from Poland
2. my english sucks in talk-to-talk thing.

My hands are tied but if this was really a typo and AD will cost 260$(without any sheath) i couldn`t afford it anyway... :(

You can get lucky and find a AD for sale "cheap".. I just got one for only 200U$.....:eek:

Hi Vince, I figured out your confusion here, the 267.00 is for the Custom Shop version, limited edition, which is the currently available rendition available in satin with SS Nukarta handle, and the BB with grey handle. The slightly cheaper version, at 187.00 is a production run with all the options that is not available yet, and wont be untill the web site is up.

You will see one for sale ocasionally on the forums, but the price wont be too far from the original.

Its good to see another bali swinger around here, theres a few of us floating around, vainly trying to get Jerry to make a few more balis for us hopless incurables that want our cake and eat it too! :D Imagine an INFI bladed bali with snakeskin nukarta handle scales... Drrooooooooooooool!!:eek: Hmmmm, one could take the blade from a skeleton key and..........................:eek: :eek: :eek:
