Actually taking Mr. Mojo for a walk?

This is scary. Really scary.

I recently saw Mr. Mojo LE for the first time at a Gun Show and now I HAVE TO HAVE ONE. I almost clicked the "BUY" button tonight.

But, I keep asking myself, "would I really ever expose Mr. Mojo to the outdoors?" Or would I just take it out from my safe from time to time and lovingly admire it in a Non-Busse-Worshipper-Would-Never-Understand sort of way?

How many Mr. Mojo owners out there actually put him to actual work?

Help...

guncollector,
I pick up a Mr. Mojo and a BB#3 from Andre about 2 months ago. I haven't had a chance to do anything with either one, yet :) but I will! I also have a BB#7 and I absoultly love that knife. It gets to do all of the hard nasty work around the house and when we are camping. I plan on using my Mr. Mojo just like my #7, when ever needed. Use that knife. You know it can take it.

:D
guncollector,
Was it one of mine you saw at the Cow Palace??
Just wait and I will come back.:)
Sometime in November:D
In the meantime Have sweet Busse Dreams;)

Hi Andre:

It might have been. The one I saw was the LE version--the more "aesthetically-blessed" of the two IMHO.

If I cannot make it to the COTW Show in November, can I get one from you sooner than the main Busse order line?

I have the same dilemma with most of my knives. Use 'em or keep them pristine? My original solution to preserve some of my better customs, including bowies and camp knives and fighters, was to get some Busses for to bang up instead. Now those older Busses are worth a small fortune and are worth keeping pristine...
Unless you buy two of everything good, one for storing or displaying and one for using so you can actually get the benefits, I don't see a solution.

Ron,

Mr. Mojo LE # 50 has seen a good bit of field work. Just this last weekend, he gleaned thru countless manzanita limbs and a few illicit plants.

The blade was the envy of the entire party. Other officers had much lesser blades and had to work much harder. My buddy, the team leader, was using my SHZT, we switched, and I felt the better balance of the Mojo made for less fatigue during chopping, and a more effective stroke.

When you see how hard a lesser blade works the holder, you appreciate the Busse that much more.

Thanks everyone for the input.

And, a special thanks to Papathud (Mr. Andre DuMouchel) whom I spoke to on the phone today. Mr. DuMouchel is quiet the gentleman; who's manner is reminiscent of a bygone era--soft spoken, helpful, informative, conversant, etc.

I am going to "pull the trigger" on a Mr. Mojo LE soon and will report back with a review.

I did it! Ordered my Busse Mr. Mojo LE (with custom serial no.) from Dave Roberson this afternoon (thanks, Dave).

Now comes the hard part...the wait.
